Caribbean Flavours traded nearly 9 million valued at $114,648,038 pushing trading to 9,306,111 units valued at $117,381,126 on the Junior Market on Monday compared to 3,652,602 units valued $15,524,040 passing through the market, on Friday, resulting from trading in 17 securities versus 22 on Friday.
At the close of the market 9 stocks rose and 6 declined, leading to the market index rising a mere 0.25 points to 3,189.83, while 5 stocks had bids higher than their last sale prices and 2 closed with lower offers.
The Junior Market ended trading with an average of 547,418 units for an average value of $6,904,772 compared to 166,027 units for an average value of $705,638 on the previous trading day. The average volume and value for the month to date rose to 576,036 units valued at $2,500,410 compared with 578,420 units valued at $2,133,380, previously, in contrast, May closed with averages of just 89,339 units at $596,722.
At the close of the market, AMG Packaging rose 15 cents to close at $4.15 with 2,00 units changing hands, Blue Power added 44 cents to close at $55 with 283 units changing hands, Cargo Handlers closed at $16 with 1,000 shares trading, Caribbean Cream traded 3,000 units to end at $7.40, Caribbean Flavours gained 20 cents in trading 8,992,003 units to end at $12.75. The trade is attributable to Derrimon Trading off-loading a portion of the holding in the company. Consolidated Bakeries traded a 3,700 units, to end at $3, Derrimon Trading ended with 2,000 units changing hands at $8.58 after adding 8 cents, Eppley had 9,486 units changing hands with a 1 cent fall to close at $12, 
General Accident fell a cent and closed trading with 1,872 shares at $2.79, Honey Bun had 141,667 shares changing hands to close 39 cents down at $6.11, Jamaican Teas traded 42,146 shares and rose 1 cent to end at $4.31, Jetcon Corporation rose 32 cents to end at $15.20 with 57,343 shares trading, KLE Group lost 1 cent and ended at $2.10 with 1,096 shares changing hands, Knutsford Express traded 31,565 shares to end at $16.30 with a rise of 30 cents, Lasco Distributors added 5 cents and ended trading 11,700 units at $7.20, Lasco Financial fell 2 cents with 4,000 shares changing hands to end at $4 and Main Event rose 38 cents and ended trading with 1,250 shares at $5.88.
