Market activity resulted in 3 stocks advancing, 3 declining and 7 holding firm as 282,381 shares traded at a value of $2,414,741 compared to Friday’s trades of 360,606 valued at $6,717,397.
The Composite Index lost 0.21 points to 1,289.05, the All T&T Index declined by 1.07 points to 1,752.48 but the Cross Listed Index rose 0.09 points to 111.32.

Gains| At the close of trading on Monday strong>First Citizens gained 11 cents with the last traded price ending at $31.91 as 12,038 shares valued at $382,819 changed hands, JMMB Group closed 13 cents higher at a 52 weeks’ high of $2.20 with 58,315 shares trading and Trinidad & Tobago NGL rose 5 cents and closed at $23.55 exchanging 3,100 shares.
Losses| The securities declining at the last price for the day are Clico Investment trading 16,457 shares valued at $345,708 and lost 4 cents in closing at $21, National Flour Mills fell 4 cents and closed at a 52 weeks’ low of $1.95 trading 53,012 shares and Republic Financial Holdings settled at $101.76, losing 13 cents with 3,465 shares valued at $345,708 trading.
Firm Trades| Securities traded unchanged at the close of the market are,Angostura Holdings exchanging 2,180 shares at $15.05, Grace Kennedy closing at $2.95 with 70,213 shares traded, National Enterprises closed at $9.75 with 500 units. One Caribbean Media closed at $14 with 47,046 shares valued at $658,644 changing hands, Prestige Holdings closed at $10.75 in exchanging 1,045 units, Sagicor Financial traded 15,000 shares at $8 and Scotiabank remained at $58.50 with 10 units being traded.
