Solid start to JSE opening

The Jamaica Stock Exchange opened with a blast on Tuesday, with strong gains in the major indices. The Junior Market jumped a solid 88.94 points to 3,758.85 in the 1st 15 minutes of trading while the all Jamaica index popped 4,749.51 points to 354,877.80 points and the Jamaica Stock Exchange Main Index put on 3,539.64 points to open at 312,006.70 points.
Stocks with reasonable gains include Access Financial up 67 cents, Fontana rising 33 cents, Honey Bun gaining 72 cents and Caribbean Cream up 36 cents. in the main market, Berger Paints rose 59 cents Jamaica Broilers gained 50 cents followed by Key Insurance with 33 cents. In the Main Market, Jamaica Broilers rallied 50 followed by Key Insurance with a rise of 33 cents, Margaritaville was up 38 cents, NCB Financial Group added 99, Supreme Ventures rose 51 cents and Wisynco Group was up 60 cents.
