Proven dominates US$ trades

The Jamaica Stock Exchange, US dollar Market, enjoyed increased volume on Wednesday with Proven Investments dominating trading with 3.74 million shares with a value of US$853,024, after just four securities changed hands.

Proven Investments traded the most on the market.

Trading closed with the US market Index losing 1.68 points to end at 184.35 and the average PE Ratio of the market ending at 12.6 based on IC Insider.com’s forecasted 2020-21 earnings.
Trading ended with no prices rising, while the prices of two declined and two were unchanged.
The market closed with an exchange of 3,756,338 shares, accounting for $854,239 compared to 245,055 units at $31,042 on Tuesday.
An average of 939,085 units traded at $213,560, in contrast to an average of 61,264 at $7,761 at the close on Tuesday. An average of 153,426 units changed hands for the month to date at $22,054 in contrast to 85,108 units at $5,401. June closed with an average of 281,680 shares at US$46,787.

At the close of the market, First Rock Capital Investment declined 1 cent ending at 9 US cents with an exchange of 4,100 stock units, Proven Investments traded 3,740,978 shares to close at 23 US cents. Sygnus Credit Investments declined by 1 cent ending at 15 US cents while exchanging 5,260 shares and Transjamaica Highway, with an exchange of 6,000 shares at 0.94 US cents.
