Pan Jamaican Investment traded at $27.40 for a new high with 2.66 million shares and Jamaica Producers traded at $48 for a new 52 weeks’ high with 31,798 shares, 
in early Friday morning trading on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
Grace Kennedy traded 21,805 shares, with the price remaining unchanged at $125 with no stock now on offer.
Trading resulted in activity in 23 securities, accounting for a volume of 3,171,661 units as 11 stocks gained and 7 declined. The average number of shares traded amounts to just 132,153 units compared to an average of 63,724 units on Thursday.
After 75 minutes of trading in the early morning session, on Friday, the all Jamaica Composite Index rose 513.40 points to 177,880.98, the JSE Market Index gained 459.05 points to 160,099.02, the JSE combined index climbed 540.17 to close at 171,659.83 points and the junior market index rose 11.12 points to 2,256.56.
