The Junior Market trading, picked up on Friday, with 6,535,788 units valued at $30,540,149 passing through the market, compared to 3,507,923 units valued at $11,169,576 on Thursday.
At the close of market activities, 27 securities changed hands, down from 32 on Thursday with the prices of 12 advancing, 6 declining and 9 remaining unchanged. The Junior Market Index lost just 2.71 points to close at 3,546.20.
Trading ended with an average of 242,066 units for an average of $1,131,117 in contrast to 109,623 units for an average of $349,049 on Thursday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 3,139,449 units valued at $6,592,999 and previously 3,808,076 units valued at $7,853,433 for each security traded. In contrast, August ended with an average of 232,398 units valued at $1,072,851 for each traded security.

Stocks closing with price changes| AMG Packaging closed 5 cents higher at $2.30, with 170,200 stock units changing hands, Dolphin Cove closed with a loss of 75 cents at $11 in swapping of 34,000 shares, Derrimon Trading closed 1 cent higher at $2.50, with an exchange of 73,986 stock units. Everything Fresh declined 4 cents in trading 62,130 units at $1.36, Elite Diagnostic closed 10 cents higher at $6.50, with 84,957 stock units changing hands. Fosrich declined 54 cents in trading of 3,557,133 units to close at $4.85, Fontana closed 3 cents higher at $8.53, in trading 69,812 stock units, General Accident fell 18 cents in exchanging 5,100 units to close at $5.55, Honey Bun ended trading with 84,892 shares, after rising 19 cents to end at $7. iCreate closed trading of 2,049 units and gained 3 cents to end at $0.83, Indies Pharma closed with a loss of 35 cents at $3.34, after swapping of 137,682 shares, Jamaican Teas closed trading of 17,039 units and gained 10 cents to end at $6.10, Lasco Distributors closed 20 cents higher at $3.50, with 34,200 stock units changing hands. Lasco Manufacturing climbed 69 cents and exchanged 758,940 shares to close at $5.70, Main Event closed trading of 15,714 units and gained 10 cents to end at $7.10. Paramount Trading declined by 20 cents to settle at $2 while 71,000 units were traded, Stationery and  Office Supplies rose 49 cents to end at $12.99, trading 654 stock units and tTech closed 75 cents higher at $6.55, with an exchange of 100 stock units.
