Junior Market stock trading.
The Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange recovered some of the recent losses on Wednesday as advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks and the volume of trading rose 64 percent.
At the close of market activities, the market index rose 28.68 points to close at 2,970.22 as the prices of 14 securities advanced, 11 declined and 3 remained unchanged as 28 securities changed hands, compared to 24 on Tuesday. Trading resulted in rise in the volume changing hands to 3,326,424 units valued at $12,838,542 compared to 2,022,568 units valued $7,237,526 on Tuesday.

Trading ended with an average of 118,801 units for an average of $458,519 in contrast to 84,274 units for an average of $301,564 on Tuesday. In contrast, April closed with an average of 87,963 units valued $317,267 for each security traded.
At the close of the market, Access Financial closed with a loss of 5 cents at $42.50, with an exchange of 20,304 shares, AMG Packaging ended with a loss of 23 cents at $2, trading 109,388 stock units, 
Blue Power concluded trading of 3,200 units, at $4.20. Cargo Handlers settled with a loss of 4 cents at $10.96, after trading 100 shares, Caribbean Producers traded 7,835 units at $4.50, Consolidated Bakeries closed 20 cents higher at $2, with 250,745 shares changing hands. Derrimon Trading ended with a loss of 4 cents at $2.75, with the exchanging of 2,206 shares, Dolphin Cove concluded trading of 3,357 shares with a loss of 33 cents at $11.72, Everything Fresh finished 4 cents higher at $1.52, with 119,546 stock units crossing the exchange. Elite Diagnostic settled 1 cent higher at $2.96, trading 26,229 units, Express Catering ended trading with 7,000 shares and rose 50 cents to end at $7.70, FosRich Group traded with a loss of 9 cents at $3.91, with 1,502,876 shares changing hands, Fontana finished trading 10 cents higher at $4.10, with 994,116 shares. GWest Corporation ended with a loss of 4 cents at $1.31, with an exchange of 1,000 units, iCreate closed trading of 14,231 shares to close at 89 cents. Indies Pharma finished with a loss of 10 cents at $3.15, with 31,715 shares trading, Jamaican Teas traded 6,351 units and rose 44 cents to end at $3.95, Jetcon Corporation finished trading 13,235 shares and 
gained 18 cents to $2.48. KLE Group ended with a loss of 10 cents at $2.40, with 17,810 shares changing hands, Knutsford Express concluded trading of 1,200 stock units, with a gain of 99 cents to $12.99, Lasco Distributors finished 19 cents higher at $3.88, with 9,899 units trading, Lasco Financial added 20 cents to close at $4.40, with an exchange of 1,500 shares. Lasco Manufacturing ended trading of 133,000 shares and rose 9 cents to end at $3.18, Main Event fell 30 cents to $5, with 21,943 shares changing hands, Medical Disposables exchanged 20,000 stock units to close at $6.50, Paramount Trading closed 25 cents higher at $2.50, with 1,300 units passing through the exchange. SSL Venture Capital ended 10 cents higher at $1.60, trading 3,338 shares and tTech settled with a loss of 35 cents at $4.80, with 3,000 stock units changing hands.
