Junior Market falls on Wednesday

Trading activity rose on the Junior Market on Wednesday with more volume and value being traded than on Tuesday. Volume going through the market rose to 2,431,664 units valued $15,710,282, compared to 1,467,646 units valued $7,509,226 on Tuesday.

At the close of the market, AMG Packaging fell 8 cents to close at $4 with 99,558 units changing hands, Cargo Handlers closed at $16 with just 2,500 shares trading, Caribbean Cream gained 7 cents in trading 6,100 units to end at $7.52, Caribbean Producers traded 474,617 units and rose 28 cents to end at $3.78, Consolidated Bakeries traded 472 shares to close 2 cents lower at $3.18, Derrimon Trading had 1,039,357 units changing hands to close 40 cents lower to $8.60, Dolphin Cove dropped $1 to end at $19 with 110 shares changing hands, Eppley rose $1 with 27,264 units changing hands, to close of $12. General Accident dived 60 cents and closed trading with 227,312 shares to end at $2.30, Honey Bun had 11,815 shares changing hands to close with a fall of 15 cents to $6.85, Jamaican Teas traded 10,000 shares at $4.27, Jetcon Corporation ended at $14.88 with 62,592 shares trading, after gaining 38 cents, Knutsford Express traded 36,301 shares to end at $16.45, Lasco Distributors shed 5 cents and ended trading 25,350 units at $7, Lasco Financial had 123,007 shares changing hands to end at $4. Lasco Manufacturing shed 15 cents to end at $4.65 trading 207,000 shares. Main Event dropped 49 cents to end trading with 5,311 shares at $6.Medical Disposables ended at $5 after losing 90 cents with 42,895 units crossing the exchange, Paramount Trading climbed by 19 cents and ended with 12,358 shares changing hands at $3.04 and tTech ended with 17,745 units trading at $7.90.
