Trading again picked up after a slow morning session on Thursday similar to Wednesday. At the close 15 securities traded resulting in 7,421,628 units valued at $51,342,298.
The JSE Market Index lost 106.11 points to 82,518.51, the JSE All Jamaican Composite index fell 118.63 points to close at 90,977.83. Scotia Investments with 1,423,517 shares was the dominant main market trade, the price closed at $24 up 50 cents, this was followed by Sagicor Group with 545,371 units and it closed at $10.42.
