TTSE close mixed on Thursday

Market activity on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange ended on Thursday with trading in 18 securities against 14 on Wednesday, with 6 advancing, 5 declining and 7 remaining unchanged.
At close of the market, the Composite Index lost 0.91 points to 1,304.04. The All T&T Index shed 2.30 points to 1,704.79, while the Cross Listed Index rose 0.07 points to close at 122.04.
Trading ended with 409,977 shares at a value of $4,344,587, compared to 619,436 shares at a value of $6,956,090 on Wednesday.

Stocks closing with gains| Calypso Macro Index Fund gained 1 cent trading 400 shares to close at $13.51, National Flour gained 1 cent and completed trading of 2,908 units, at $1.65, Republic Financial Holdings rose 3 cents and settled at $107.55, after exchanging 1,024 shares. Sagicor Financial closed with an increase of 9 cents at $9.11, after exchanging 5,799 shares, Trinidad & Tobago NGL gained 30 cents and completed trading with 4,822 units at $29.50 and West Indian Tobacco finished 8 cents higher at $95.50, with 52 stock units changing hands.
Stocks closing with losses| Ansa Merchant Bank fell 50 cents and settled at $38, after exchanging 1,399 shares, Clico Investments closed with a loss of 8 cents and ended at $20.10, with 4,810 stock units changing hands. Massy Holdings shed 9 cents and ended at $47.66, after exchanging 3,825 shares, Scotiabank lost 25 cents and ended at $63.65, with 3,322 stock units changing hands and Trinidad Cement ended trading 10 cents lower at $2.50, after exchanging 500 shares.
Stocks closing firm| Ansa Mcal completed trading of 2,000 units at $55, First Citizens settled at $34, after exchanging 3,478 shares, Grace Kennedy ended at $3.06, with 200 stock units changing hands. Guardian Holdings completed trading of 10,500 units at $18, National Enterprises ended trading at $8, with 3,805 stock units changing hands, NCB Financial Group settled at $8.40, after exchanging 360,000 shares and Prestige Holdings completed trading at $7.40, with 1,133 units changing hands.
