Investors’ sentiment in the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange remains weak, with just 2 stocks advancing, 6 falling and 7 remaining unchanged, at the close of trading on Tuesday. The Investor’s Choice bid-offer Indicator confirms the weakness, with just 1 stock with a bid that is higher than the last selling price and 8 with lower offers, at the end of trading.
Market activity resulted in 15 securities changing hands compared to 12 on Monday, leading the Composite Index  to decline by 0.50 points to 1,206.29, the All T&T Index falling by  1.12 points to 1,789.19 and the Cross Listed Index rising 0.02 points to 83.52, as the shares of Jamaican, Scotia Investments gained 2 cents and ended at $2.07, trading 10,000 shares, to be one of two stocks rising. Trinidadian, Angostura Holdings was the other stock to rise, with an increase of 1 cent and 5,000 shares trading at $15.01.
A total of 218,112 shares changed hands at a value of $3,234,221 compared to Monday, with 103,284 units valued at $1,450,577.
Losses|Clico Investment lost 1 cent to close at 22.49, with an exchange of 50,697 units valued at $1,140,668, First Citizens closed at $31.64, losing 1 cent with 20,000 shares trading, valued at $682,800, Massy Holdings traded 48 cents lower to close at a 52 weeks’ low of $49.50 in exchanging 4,007 units. Enterprises was down 1 cent, closing at $10.49, with 8,000 shares changing hands, Sagicor Financial closed at $8, with a loss of 1 cent trading 85,520 shares valued at $684,246 and Trinidad Cement lost 1 cent to close at $4.14, with an exchange of 11,358 shares.
Firm Trades|Ansa McAL exchanged 500 units at $66, Grace Kennedytraded 6,000 units at $2.71. Guardian Holdings held firm at $16.09, with 9,960 shares changing hands, Republic Financial Holdings closed at $101.90, with 316 shares changing hands, Scotiabank traded 1,034 units at $58.03. Trinidad & Tobago NGL remained at $21.90 exchanging 1,720 units while Praetorian Property closed at $3.02, with 4,000 shares changing owners.

Shares of Unilever Caribbean dropped to their lowest in a year, as the price declined by a whopping $7 to end at $51, one of the major factor pulling the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange down, at the close on Wednesday.
All three market indices declined as falling prices overwhelmed advancing ones. Sagicor Financial closed at a 52 weeks’ high of $9.41, adding 1 cent with an exchange of 46,310 shares, valued at $435,777, while Praetorian Property closed at a 52 weeks’ high of $3.01, rising 1 cent with 20,000 units changing hands.
Losses| Clico Investment closed trading at $22.51 with loss of 8 cents and an exchange of 3,252 units, Ansa Merchant Bank lost 1 cent to close at $40.01 with trades of 4,030 shares, First Citizens closed 25 cents lower at $32.25, with 23,743 units changing hands, valued at $765,712. Guardian Holdings slipped 25 cents to $16.50 trading 133,238 shares valued at $2,170,445, National Commercial Bank closed 37 cents lower at $3.60 with an exchange of 518,125 shares valued at $1,940,337. Prestige Holdings closed at $10.86, losing 14 cents with 4,744 units changing hands, Trinidad & Tobago NGL lost 1 cent trading to close at $23.65 with 13,188 units valued at $311,900 and Unilever Caribbean declined $7 to a 52 weeks’ low of $51 with 2,120 shares changing owners.
Firm Trades| Massy Holdings closed at $53 trading 27,464 units valued at $1,455,833, One Caribbean Media was unchanged at $17 with 15,940 shares changing hands, Scotiabank traded at $57.50 with 23,252 units valued at $1,363,747, Trinidad Cement closed at $4.40 with 2,980 units changing hands and West Indian Tobacco held at $127 with an exchange of 73,945 shares valued at $9,390,348.

Praetorian Property lost 5 cents to close at $2.85 with trades of 1,352 shares and Readymix closed at a 52 weeks low of $10.80, after losing 20 cents trading 1,500 units.
Firm Trades| Clico Investment was unchanged at $22.50 trading 1,786 units, First Citizens closed at $32.49 with trades of 150 shares, JMMB Group ended trading at $1.20 with an exchange of 2,565 units, National Commercial Bank remained at $4 with 65,000 units changing hands. Point Lisas traded 9,783 shares at $3.70, Prestige Holdings held firm at $10.99 trading 4,171 units, Scotiabank closed at $58.75 with 2,612 shares trading and West Indian Tobacco remained at $127 with 120 units changing hands.
