ONE on ONE Educational led trading with 2.46 million shares for 15.6 percent of total volume, followed by JFP Limited with 2.30 million units for 14.5 percent of the day’s trade, EduFocal continued with 1.91 million units for 12.1 percent market share and MFS Capital Partners ended with 1.84 million units for 11.6 percent stocks traded.

For a second consecutive day, the Junior Market Index declined sharply and dropped 46.93 points to 4,183.05 following the 76 points fall on Thursday as trading closed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange on Friday, with the volume of stocks traded declining 21 percent and the value 24 percent lower than on Thursday.
Investors exchanged 45 securities versus 44 on Thursday, 12 rose, 19 declined and 14 closed unchanged.
A total of 20,063,473 shares were exchanged for $56,261,266 compared to 25,483,749 units at $73,838,816 on Thursday. ONE on ONE Educational gains 32% on debut

ONE on ONE Educational shares were listed on Monday with the price jumping 32 cents on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Thursday. The market ended with the volume of stocks traded declining 68 percent and the value 48 percent lower than on Wednesday with 44 securities trading versus 45 on Wednesday and ended with prices of 15 rising, 23 declinng and six closng unchanged.

Trading averaged 422,125 shares at $2,091,786 versus 1,282,160 shares at $3,896,990 on Wednesday. August closed with an average of 407,186 units at $1,330,946.
MFS Capital Partners led trading with 5.51 million shares for 29.7 percent of total volume followed by Lasco Distributors with 2.51 million units for 13.5 percent of the day’s trade, Access Financial with 1.25 million units for 6.7 percent market share and General Accident with 1.23 million units for 6.6 percent market share.

Trading picked up sharply on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange Wednesday, with the volume of stocks traded rising 122 percent and the value 147 percent more than on Tuesday, following trading in 45 securities versus 44 on Tuesday and ending with 27 rising, 14 declining and four closing unchanged.
A total of 57,697,192 shares were exchanged for $175,364,563 compared to 26,003,630 units at $71,056,138 on Tuesday. Trading averaged 1,282,160 shares at $3,896,990 versus 590,992 shares at $1,614,912 on Tuesday with the month to date, averaging 407,186 units at $1,330,946 compared to 363,535 units at $1,202,929 on the previous trading day. July closed with an average of 512,709 units at $2,574,304.
Fosrich led trading with 22.41 million shares for 38.8 percent of total volume, followed by Mailpac Group with 20.46 million units for 35.5 percent of the day’s trade, Dolla Financial with 3.33 million units for 5.8 percent market share, Spur Tree Spices with 3.16 million units for 5.5 percent market share, JFP Limited with 1.84 million units for 3.2 percent market share and Tropical Battery with 1.29 million units for 2.2 percent market share.
