NCB trades at J$170 on TTSE – Tuesday

NCB stock jumped to TT$8.93 on TTSE.

In market activity on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Tuesday NCB Financial climbed 98 cents to close at a record high of $8.93 or J$170.
At the close of trading 18 securities were active against 16 on Monday, with 5 advancing, 3 declining and 10 remaining unchanged on a day when both the volume a value of trading dropped sharply below Monday’s levels.
At close of the market, the Composite Index gained 2.90 points on Tuesday to 1,297.55. The All T&T Index rose 0.54 points to 1,695.51, while the Cross Listed Index added 0.73 points to close at 121.57.
Trading ended with 261,740 shares at a value of $3,498,832 compared to 812,542 shares at a value of $10,196,809 on Monday.

Stocks closing with gainsFirst Citizens rose 1 cent and ended at $32.76, after exchanging 12,327 shares, JMMB Group rose 2 cents and completed trading at $1.77, after exchanging 3,185 shares, NCB Financial Group closed with a gain of 98 cents and ended with an exchange of 20,188 shares at 52 weeks high of $8.93, Trinidad & Tobago NGL gained 1 cent and ended at $29.16, after exchanging 100 shares and West Indian Tobacco finished trading 334 units and gained 25 cents to close at $95.50.
Stocks closing with losses| Calypso Macro Index Fund lost 4 cents to close trading of 200 shares at $15.81, Grace Kennedy closed with a loss of 15 cents at $2.85, with 11,501 stock units changing hands and Sagicor Financial shed 97 cents and settled at $9, with 41,002 stock units changing hands.
Stocks closing firm| Ansa Merchant ended trading at $38.26, after exchanging 262 shares, Clico Investments settled at $20.15, with 58,395 stock units changing hands, First Caribbean International Bank concluded trading of 99,014 units, at $8.05, Guardian Holdings closed at $18, with 10 units trading, Massy Holdings completed trading at $45, after exchanging 6,358 shares, National Enterprises settled at $8, with 500 stock units changing hands, Point Lisas settled at $3.70, trading 6,314 stock units, Republic Financial Holdings completed trading at $107, after exchanging 1,010 shares, Scotiabank concluded trading of 1,010 units at $64.74 and Unilever Caribbean settled at $23, with 30 stock units changing hands.
