More pressure on Junior Market

Trading on the Junior Market ended on Thursday with prices of 15 securities advancing, 16 declining and two remaining unchanged. The market Index fell 24.57 points to close at 3,170.85, the lowest point since July 2019.
The market closed with 33 securities changing hands, resulting in an exchange of 10,271,447 units valued at $27,200,810 compared to 2,385,114 units for $6,854,458 from 35 securities on Wednesday. The average PE Ratio of the market ended at 13.4 based on earnings for 2019.
Trading ended with an average of 311,256 units at $824,267 for each security, in contrast to 68,146 units for an average of $195,842 on Wednesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 165,393 units amounting to $611,189 and previously 165,921 units valued $596,164. In contrast, December closed with an average of 521,319 shares at $1,344,719 for each security traded.

At the close of the market, Access Financial gained $1.40 to end at $31.90, trading just 140 shares, AMG Packaging exchanged 42,587 shares, after rising 4 cents to end at $2.04, Blue Power closed 10 cents higher at $4.15, with 24,210 stock units changing hands. CAC 2000 dropped $1.50 in exchanging 3,500 shares to close at $13.50, Caribbean Cream ended trading with 1,300 shares, after rising 10 cents to $4.10, Caribbean Producers climbed 19 cents and exchanged 400 shares at $4.99, Derrimon Trading ended market activity with 40,356 shares crossing the exchange to close at $2.21 after falling 35 cents. Elite Diagnostic closed 12 cents higher at $4.50, trading 192,700 stock units, Everything Fresh traded at a record low of 97 cents but closed with a loss of 4 cents at $1.01, in swapping of 428,650 shares, Express Catering fell 7 cents in trading of 26,805 units at $6.11. Fontana closed with 397,098 units changing hands and gained 5 cents to end at $7.10, Fosrich closed 18 cents higher at $4.50, with 329,988 stock units trading, General Accident climbed 24 cents and exchanged 24,152 shares at $6.99, GWest Corporation rose 2 cents and traded 44,533 units at $1.03. Honey Bun traded at an intraday record high of $9.90 in exchanging 441,936 stock units to close at $8.50 after falling 20 cents, iCreate fell 15 cents in trading 585,387 units at 70 cents, Indies Pharma ended with a loss of 1 cent at $2.92 with 89,010 stock units changing hands. Iron Rock Insurance declined 48 cents to settle at $3.50 with an exchange of 500 shares, Jamaican Teas dipped 20 cents in trading 52,900 units at $6.30, Jetcon Corporation traded 101,844 shares and declined by 15 cents to settle at $1.40, Key Insurance lost 70 cents to settle at $3.10. Knutsford Express climbed 19 cents and exchanged 1,319 shares at $9.35, Lasco Distributors ended with a loss of 1 cent at $3.20 with 166,869 stock units changing hands, Lasco Financial declined 8 cents in trading 1,220 units at $4.02, Lasco Manufacturing closed 12 cents higher at $4.30, in trading 66,399 stock units. Lumber Depot fell 5 cents with 707,508 shares changing hands at $1.62, MailPac gained 5 cents to $2.14, with 6,343,722 stock units crossing the exchange, Main Event lost 20 cents in trading 887 shares to close at 6.10 cents. Paramount Trading shed 3 cents in transferring 10,549 units at $1.70, SSL Venture gained 1 cent to end at $1.24, after trading 81,100 shares and Stationery and Office Supplies closed 99 cents higher at $10, with 19,845 stock units changing hands.
