Junior Market at 2 year low

Trading on the Junior Market of the Jamaica Stock Exchange finished on Thursday with the index declining by 34.22 points to close at 2,887.10, the lowest level since March 2018, The IC bid-offer Indicator suggests that the market could enjoy a bounce on Friday.
Market activity resulted in 30 securities changing hands, in an exchange of 1,829,296 units valued at $5,404,058 compared to 2,930,240 units valued at $10,568,242 from 33 securities trading on Wednesday.
At the close, the prices of 10 securities advanced, 13 declined and 7 remained unchanged. The Junior Market average PE ratio ended at 13 times 2019 earnings.
Trading ended with an average of 60,977 units for an average of $180,135 in contrast to 88,795 units for an average of $320,250 on Wednesday. The average volume and value for the month to date amounts to 135,408 units valued at $395,381 and previously 145,201 units valued at $423,579. In contrast, January closed with an average of 137,619 units valued at $521,935 for each security traded.
IC bid-offer Indicator| At the end of trading, the Investor’s Choice bid-offer indicator reading shows eight stocks ending with bids higher than their last selling prices and one with a lower offer.
At the close of the market, Access Financial recovered $3.02 of its recent loss, to end at $29, trading 5,335 shares, CAC 2000 declined 50 cents in trading 900 units at $12.50, Caribbean Cream lost 14 cents to settle at $3.35 exchanging 1,781 units, Caribbean Producers gained 1 cent to end at $4.50 trading 76,200 shares. Consolidated Bakeries closed 10 cents higher at $1.75, with 1,572 stock units trading,  Derrimon Trading closed with a loss of 5 cents at $1.88, in switching ownership of 168,100 shares, Elite Diagnostic exchanged 6,579 units and gained 1 cent to end at $4.02. Express Catering ended 80 cents higher at $5.80, with 4,937 stock units changing hands, Fosrich closed 51 cents higher at $3.96, with 2,000 stock units trading, iCreate lost 2 cents to close at 73 cents, in swapping 70,262 shares. Indies Pharma declined by 15 cents to settle at a 52 weeks’ low of $2.45 after trading 359,866 shares, Jamaican Teas climbed 27 cents and exchanged 115,340 shares at $6.27, Jetcon Corporation ended market activity trading 44,900 shares to close at $1.22 after falling 3 cents. Knutsford Express traded 15,215 shares at $9.30, after rising 28 cents, Lasco Financial shed 40 cents in trading of 79,147 units at 52 weeks’ low of $3.10, Lasco Manufacturing ended with 49,002 shares, after rising 25 cents to $4.20, Limners and Bards closed with a loss of 3 cents at $2.69, in swapping of 17,553 shares. Lumber Depot declined by 3 cents to settle at $1.47, with 362,084 shares changing hands, MailPac closed with a loss of 2 cents at $1.98, after swapping 131,878 shares, Main Event ended trading with 18,133 shares, after rising 15 cents to $5.95. Paramount Trading exchanged 62,262 shares to close at $1.50 after falling 21 cents, Stationery and Office Supplies fell 15 cents in trading of 49,581 units at $9 and tTech closed with a loss of 50 cents at $5, in swapping of 9,589 shares.
