Guardian Holdings jumps $1.05 as NCB Financial revices offer to buy up 62%,
Guardian Holdings (GHL) jumped $1.05 to $18 in market activity on the Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange on Wednesday following NCB financial announcement that it will shortly be making a revised offer to acquire up 62 percent ownership in GHL.
Trading ended with 14 securities changing hands against 16 on Tuesday, and finished with 4 advancing, 2 declining and 8 remaining unchanged.
At close of the market, the Composite Index added 9.24 points to 1,303.66, the All T&T Index rose 1.39 points to 1,703.65, while the Cross Listed Index gained 2.37 points to close at 122.11. Trading ended with 271,435 units valued at $6,434,321 compared to 364,521 units valued at $11,132,908 on Tuesday.
