Gains for TTSE stocks

Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed on Tuesday with trading in 17 securities against 16 on Monday, with 7 advancing, 2 declining and 8 remaining unchanged.
At the close of the market, the Composite Index gained 2.01 points to end at 1,392.86. The All T&T Index rose 6.41 points to 1,754.96, while the Cross Listed Index declined 0.34 points to close at 139.64.
Trading ended with just 291,079 shares at a value of $4,293,499, compared to 43,050 shares at a value of $1,201,598 shares on Monday.

Gains| Massy Holdings closed with a gain of 5 cents and completed trading at $54.45, with 2,924 stock units trading, National Enterprises rose 30 cents and ended at $6, with 75,366 stock units changing hands, Sagicor Financial inched 1 cent higher and ended at $10.21, with 5,572 units crossing the exchange. Scotiabank ended with a rise of 15 to settle at $58.75, with 2,019 units trading, Trinidad & Tobago NGL traded 1,293 units and rose 49 cents to close at $25.50, Unilever Caribbean ended trading 30 shares and rose 48 cents to settle at $24.98 and West Indian Tobacco rose $1 and concluded trading of 5 units at $106.
Losses| First Citizens Bank ended trading 24 cents lower in settling at $40.15, with 3,591 stock units changing hands and NCB Financial closed with a loss of 5 cents at $10.35, after exchanging 43,000 shares.
Firm Trades| Angostini’s traded 100 shares and closed at $24, Calypso Macro Index Fund exchanged 400 shares in closing at $15.50, Clico Investment Fund closed at $24.17, with 4,193 stock units trading, Ansa Mcal completed trading of 45,000 units at $55. Guardian Holdings closed at $18.10, after exchanging 1,573 shares, JMMB Group ended at $2.25, with 46,400 stock units changing hands, Republic Financial concluded trading of 350 shares at $121.81 and Trinidad Cement ended at $2.10, with 59,263 units crossing the exchange.
