Declining TTSE stocks beaten 2 to 1 – Tuesday

The Trinidad Stock Market is in a modest bull trend.

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed on Tuesday with modest changes in the market indices after advancing beat out declining stocks 2 to 1.
At close of the market, the Composite Index gained 1.65 points to 1,358.57. The All T&T Index rose 3.12 points to 1,798.64, while the Cross Listed Index inched 0.02 points higher to close at 123.97.
The market closed with 16 securities trading compared to 16 on Monday, leading to 8 advancing, 4 declining and 4 remaining unchanged as 361,346 shares valued $3,021,802 changed hands, compared to 196,162 shares valued $3,021,802, on Monday.
IC bid-offer Indicator|The Investor’s Choice bid-offer ended with 5 stocks with a higher bid than their last selling prices and 1 with a lower offer.
Stocks ending with gains| At the close of the market, Agostini’s  added 10 cents to close at a 52 weeks’ high of $23.60, after exchanging 2,986 shares, Angostura Holdings ended trading with a rise of 20 cents to $16, with 110,753 stock units changing hands. Clico Investments rose 50 cents to end at a 52 weeks’ high of $24, after trading 11,270 units, First Citizens Bank gained 50 cents to end at $39 in exchanging 670 shares, JMMB Group added 10 cents to end at $2, with 560 stock units changing hands. Republic Financial Holdings increased 3 cents and ended at $121.15, with 10,643 stock units trading, Sagicor Financial rose 14 cents and completed trading of 99,436 units  at $10.14 and Scotiabank closed with a gain of 33 cents at $62.89, after exchanging 2,034 shares.
Stocks closing with losses| Massy Holdings closed with a loss of 1 cent at $54.94, with 278 stock units changing hands, National Enterprises fell 5 cents and settled at a 52 weeks’ low of $6.65 after exchanging 1,170 shares. Trinidad & Tobago NGL shed 25 cents and closed at $28.50, while trading 140 shares and Unilever Caribbean lost 20 cents and completed trading of 4,000 units at $25.30.
Stocks closing firm| First Caribbean International Bank settled at $8.35, after exchanging 4,115 shares, Guardian Holdings settled at $18.50, after exchanging 50,000 shares, National Flour concluded at $1.72, after exchanging 859 shares and NCB Financial Group ended at $8.45, with 62,432 stock units changing hands.
