5 stocks rose 5 fall on TTSE – Monday

The Trinidad & Tobago Stock Exchange closed on Monday with all three market indices declining as trading levels dropped sharply compared to Friday.  
The market closed with 17 securities trading similar to Monday, leading to 5 advancing, 5 declining and 7 remaining unchanged as 173,992 shares valued $4,217,945 changed hands, compared to 776,765 shares valued $11,926,368  compared 19 securities trading on Friday.
At close of the market, the Composite Index shed 0.52 points to end at 1,363.50. The All T&T Index lost 0.44 points to 1,801.34, while the Cross Listed Index declined 0.08 points to close at 124.96.

Stocks ending with gains|First Caribbean International Bank rose 1 cent and settled at $8.36, after exchanging 3,300 shares, Point Lisas gained 5 cents and settled at $3.70, in exchanging 1,211 shares, Republic Financial Holdings added 88 cents at $122, with 1,215 stock units changing hands. Scotiabank closed with an increase of 5 cents and settled at $62.55, after trading 244 shares and Unilever Caribbean ended with a rise of 30 cents at $25.30, with 984 units.
Stocks closing with losses| Ansa Mcal shed 27 cents and completed trading at $55.02, with 2,853 units, Gaurdian Media dropped 1 cent and ended at 52 weeks’ low of $12.75, with 75 stock units changing hands, National Enterprises declined 2 cents and settled at 52 weeks’ low of $6.68, after exchanging 1,025 shares. Sagicor Financial ended trading 5 cents lower and completed trading at $10.30, with 60,450 units and Trinidad & Tobago NGL shares fell 25 cents and concluded at $29, after exchanging 39,542 shares.
Stocks closing firm| Ansa Merchant Bank settled at $37, after exchanging a mere 1 share, Calypso Macro Index Fund ended at $15.30, with 682 stock units changing hands, First Citizens concluded market activity at $39, after exchanging 228 shares. Guardian Holdings settled at $18.50, with 20,000 shares crossing the exchange, JMMB Group ended at $2.10, in exchanging 11,982 stock units, LJ Williams B share concluded trading of 200 shares at $1 and Massy Holdings closed at $54.95, with 30,000 stock units changing hands.
